How I Can Help You

My passion is helping leaders grow, and helping them better navigate the leadership journey that awaits them. My coaching process allows clients to better understand how they are perceived by others, how that perception aligns with their perception of themselves, and what steps will make them more effective leaders and stronger performers.

I am particularly skillful at delivering the critically important “wake-up calls” that can be found in 360 feedback reviews. I am a reflective listener who can help executives articulate their goals and create a realistic and specific plan to achieve them.

Coaching executives at all levels, I have particular expertise in professional services organizations, media and entertainment companies, large nonprofits, and c-suite positions. I am also skilled at helping aspiring and emerging leaders develop their own unique approach to effective leadership.

For job seekers, I provide support at every step in the process, including choosing a new or different career, perfecting the job search tools (resume, cover letter, LinkedIn profile, etc) and the search process itself - including effective networking and interview prep.

I have many years of experience in the C-suite and working with the board of directors of a public company. My experience includes hiring employees at all levels, leading teams of all sizes, and helping leaders overcome obstacles and become effective and successful team players.

About Mark

Mark has held senior executive positions in a range of organizations – Chief Human Resources Officer at both a global entertainment company and at a large law firm, an HR executive at a financial services company focused on the technology sector, and in-house and large law firm lawyer.  

Mark has a bachelor’s degree in Industrial and Labor Relations from Cornell University, a law degree from Boston University Law School, and a certificate in professional coaching from iCoachNY and Baruch College, Zicklin School of Business.

Mark has served as a volunteer executive coach for well-known national non-profit organizations. He lives in Brooklyn with his wife and family.

One on one coaching, with a "360" input process at the start. "360" input (from leaders, team members and peers) can reveal blind spots and hidden strengths that are key to development and positive change. Typically a 3 to 6 month process that yields an actionable Development Plan. 

Issue Coaching

One on one coaching aimed at addressing a particular issue that has become an obstacle to performance or advancement. Typically a 3 to 6 month process that yields an actionable Development Plan.

Team Coaching

Coaching of small groups that work together regularly - either within one department or cross-departmental. Typically a 3 to 4 month process that yields an actionable "Group Contract".

Leadership Workshop

LEADERSHIP
WORKSHOP

One-time group sessions on topics such as Giving Effective Feedback, Effective Delegation, and Goal Setting. Typically 90 minute workshops that provide tools and models to help leaders be more effective.  "Hands-on" exercises keep the sessions lively and bolster learning.

New Leader Coaching

NEW LEADER COACHING

One on one coaching aimed at providing newer leaders with the perspective and tools they need to succeed in a new role. Typically a 3 to 4 month process that yields an actionable Development Plan.

CAREER PATH
